Best known for his role as
the villainous town boss in “Road House”
opposite Patrick Swayze.
Ben had played many top-notch guest roles on television such as “Law and Order: Special Victims
Unit” as an assistant executive
attorney.
He was one of Peter Bogdanovich’s favorite actors in the early 1980’s with
“Saint Jack” and the comic
classic “They All Laughed.”
One of his best lead roles included the defendant in “Anatomy of
a Murder.”
One of his lesser known but landmark roles was as Salesian Order founder
St. John Bosco, in “Don Bosco.”
